On June 15, 2011, after a long review process, a new Mission and Vision Statements were accepted by the majority of Section Managers. The new RAC ARES Mission and Vision Statements are as follows:
RAC/ARES MISSION AND VISION STATEMENTS
RAC/ARES MISSION:
The mission of RAC ARES is to be an effective partner in community, emergency and disaster response by providing emergency managers and responders with radio communications expertise, capability and capacity, supplied by qualified and credentialed ARES volunteer radio communicators.
RAC/ARES VISION:
To be valued for our knowledge & expertise in radio communication by the organizations we serve.
